Valeris' Sites for Kids: A listing of good, safe links to sites helpful for kids and parents including games, activities, science, reference, and food related sites. Sites of the week are chosen for their relevancy to current events or holidays.


Abracadabra Magic Shop: The shop is a real magic shop, not a 'virtual store'. Featuring magic effects for beginners to advanced performers. Owned and operated by Rondini a professional magician with over 25 years experience in the magical arts.

Badger Sports Park: A fun place for go-cart racing, miniature golf, and batting cages. Open May to mid-October.

Barlow Planetarium: The Barlow Planetarium serves the community all year long, with a wide variety of educational and entertaining sky shows.

Bubolz Nature Preserve: The Gordon Bubolz Nature Preserve provides educational and recreational opportunities to encourage persons of all ages to develop and practice a sound environmental ethic, which reflects an understanding and appreciation of nature.

Experimental Aircraft Association: This is the official home page of the EAA (Experimental Aircraft Association), an international 165,000-member organization that encourages and supports sport aviation - flying done strictly for pleasure. This site shows visitors how to join EAA, what membership benefits are available and all of the EAA programs and services. It is also a link to all other EAA-related sites on the World Wide Web.

Fox Cities Children's Museum: A very special kind of learning center that encourages children to touch, twist, push and pull their way into new exploration and discovery. Interaction with exhibits will intrigue, involve, and challenge children, expanding their awareness, understanding and enjoyment of the world in which they live.

Fox River Area Girl Scout Council: The Fox River Area Girl Scout Council is a charitable, not for profit organization offering informal education to girls ages 5-17.

Fox Valley KIDS: Since 1994, this monthly publication been serving communities including Appleton, Oshkosh, Neenah, Menasha, Kimberly, Kaukana, Little Chute, Fond du Lac and beyond. You can find Fox Valley KIDS at any of 300 distribution sites. It's also distributed at more than 60 elementary schools, where children receive copies to bring home to their parents.

Future Neenah: Future Neenah, Incorporated is dedicated to enhancing the aesthetic, cultural and economic vitality of the Neenah community. Site includes listing of all of the downtown Neenah merchants.

Grand Opera House: A restored 1883 Victorian theater, we offer some of the most diverse performing arts programming in Northeastern Wisconsin. Located at 100 High Avenue in downtown Oshkosh, The Grand features national and international touring companies, children's programming and local theatrical productions.

Hearthstone: The world's first home lighted by a central hydroelectric station

Millennium Kidz: At Millennium Kidz, we develop computer technology curriculum books for homeschooled children or children attending public schools who would like to further their computer education.

Oshkosh Public Museum: The Oshkosh Public Museum houses a diverse collection of objects representing the people and environment of Oshkosh and the Lake Winnebago Region. More than 250,000 objects of history, natural science, art, and anthropology are available for research and exhibit.
